About us

Marinbastun's manufacturing is located in the old industrial town of Söderfors. Our location in the country allows us to reach the whole of Sweden effectively with deliveries. The fact that it's only 140 km to Stockholm, our primary market, is naturally a bonus. As a customer, you are, of course, always welcome to visit us to see our production line and the various models and materials before you decide how your specific sauna should be designed. The premises we are building in are part of the old steel industry buildings in the town. It's a large, pleasant hall with large windows, skylights, and a powerful overhead crane. Our History

Marinbastun's history & goals

For fifteen years, I have worked with docks and marine productions. During that time, I've encountered many different sauna rafts, and somewhere along the way, my dream of creating sauna rafts with genuine quality and design was awakened.

14 years ago, I followed my dream and started Marinbastun. The combination of my experience with marine productions and the fact that I am Finnish and love going to the sauna means I know what a sauna raft should look like.

We at Marinbastun manufacture a series of sauna rafts that are becoming an increasingly common sight in our lakes, rivers and seas. The aim is to manufacture really good sauna rafts with a design that fits into the beautiful environments where they will be located.

Our combination of a strong interest in saunas, genuine knowledge of construction, and extensive experience in marine contracting makes us unique.
