Sauna windows & sauna doors
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS
Information about sauna windows and sauna doors
Sauna windows and sauna doors have some different requirements and functions that standard doors or windows do not meet. We have naturally chosen to approach this with the utmost care, and here is a brief summary of what we offer.
As standard, our exterior doors are available in both right and left-hinged options, depending on your preferred sauna layout. You can then choose to have either a solid door or a full-glass exterior door. If you opt for a solid door, the door leaf consists of a timber frame and insulation with plywood on the inside and a herringbone pine panel on the outside. This type of door is well-suited if you desire a greater degree of privacy towards the direction the door faces. Others choose this door type to achieve a more classic style for their sauna.

Fully glazed exterior door
The second option for an exterior sauna door is a fully glazed exterior door. The glass surface consists of a 2-pane unit with double toughened glass. The timber frame is the same as on the solid door but without the panel, instead having plywood on the inside and outside around the glass. This door is particularly well-suited and is used almost exclusively on our modern design sauna models Leo, Frank, and Frank XL.
The sauna door, located between the antechamber and the sauna, is also a fully glazed door. We have chosen to use clear glass for this door as well, so that it harmonises well with all the other glass surfaces. Naturally, this fully glazed sauna door is made of tempered glass.
Our sauna windows
As you've probably noticed, our sauna models generally have very large window surfaces. All our sauna windows are double-glazed insulating glass units. The inner pane is also made of toughened glass. The advantage of using double-glazed windows for saunas is that they fog up significantly less and, of course, retain heat more effectively. When you add water to your Marine Sauna, you'll notice that any slight mist that may form quickly disappears.
