Dock floats
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS
Information about the floatation devices on the sauna raft
The flotation bodies for the sauna raft are made in one piece per side, which gives stability to the entire construction. They are manufactured from HD polyethylene, welded in one piece, and filled with a dense cellular plastic. The bow is constructed so that the raft moves smoothly through the water.
Buoyancy on floating bodies
Thanks to our floatation bodies being filled with foam, you never need to worry about leaks like you would with air-filled pontoons. The buoyancy is ample, so you can always feel secure.
On our smaller sauna rafts, Juni, Svea and Leo, we use two pontoons. These then have a gross buoyancy of 4,600 kg.
On the larger sauna rafts Wilma, Frank and Alice, we use three buoyancy bodies that provide a combined gross buoyancy of 6,900 kg.
We've truly pushed the boundaries with the largest model, Frank XL, designed for large groups. We're using 4 pontoons, providing a gross buoyancy of 9,200 kg. Considering the sauna raft itself weighs around 3,500 kg, it's quickly understood that this buoyancy makes it incredibly stable.

Adapted for the Nordic climate
Of course, the pontoons are constructed for our Swedish climate and can withstand being in the water year-round; the ice cannot break the pontoons. Some customers would like pontoons made of rotationally moulded plastic. We are happy to be able to offer this as well. We are happy to tell you more about the different options, so don't hesitate to contact us.
