Wilma XL Sauna
The Wilma XL sauna is the largest of the three models with a mono-pitch roof. Along with Svea and Wilma, this model shares a design that easily fits into many different locations. The mono-pitch roof contributes a slight functional feel, but the classic surrounds and corner joints mean it also complements other types of buildings.

The Wilma XL log sauna is the largest of the three models with a shed roof. Together with Svea and Wilma, this model shares a design that easily fits in many different locations. The shed roof contributes a slight functional feel, but the classic cladding and corner joints mean that it also pairs well with other types of buildings. This sauna is the same size as the Alice XL and Frank XL.
All these models are suitable for a party of around 10–12 people. Do you like the size but wish for a different design? Then you know what to look for. All XL models are larger and more spacious than their counterparts in ”large” size. What is worth considering is that the outdoor deck space outside the sauna shrinks. They all share the same hull and only the superstructure is larger.
Window options for the Wilma XL pier sauna
Some things to consider when choosing sauna windows: nowadays, you can choose either standard windows or full-glass windows. Which you choose depends a lot on personal taste and preference, but from our experience, there are a few things to consider before making a decision.
One light
Even though this is extremely beautiful both from the outside and the inside of the sauna, take a look at the pictures for example from Joel Kinnaman Regarding the sauna we delivered in the summer of 2019, there is a drawback if the sauna raft is to be placed in a location where there is a risk of a lot of overlooking. This may depend on how sensitive one is and how natural one wants the sauna experience to be.
Another consideration is also the difference in price; the standard windows for the sauna are included in the basic price, and if you want full glass, it will be slightly more expensive, although it is worth it considering the incredibly beautiful view.
Standard windows
The disadvantage of common windows is that you miss the spectacular view that floor-to-ceiling windows offer, which is the advantage of floor-to-ceiling windows. At the same time, common windows are more wallet-friendly. Common windows will also be a better fit where the surroundings are more traditional than modern.
