The sauna is designed by architect Daniel Ängmo and built by the Marinbastun team for Kulturforum in Järna.
Ytterjärna Hotell & Konferens has been running the facility since July 2025 and handles bookings.

”The sauna's shape comes from observations of the great horizontal spaces of the sea and sky. The ripples of water and the movements of the sky, together with the wings of birds and the movements of a swan, have become a starting point for the sauna's external shape, colour, and character!” Daniel Ängmo Architecture

The Marinbastun team worked diligently on all the details and performed world-class craftsmanship.
Bastu Milton has two separate changing rooms with a large sauna room in the centre. The sauna has a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the lake, and is also equipped with an electric heater and wood-burning stove. The changing rooms are equipped with showers and benches. The sauna also has outdoor showers.
